Congressional candidate calls New Hampshire the “Peyton Place of American politics” because of the state’s corrupt media and colleges, and incompetent leadership in the Republican Party.

(Concord, NH)(August 10, 2018) --- First District GOP congressional candidate Andy Martin will hold a Concord, NH news conference Monday, August 13th to announce he is filing a lawsuit against the “partners” of the New Hampshire Republican Party, as well as local colleges that sponsor rigged polls. The GOP is promoting a “debate” that is being rigged to advance some candidates and denigrate others in violation of the party’s own bylaws.

“We drove to Concord to file the lawsuit Friday afternoon, but were caught in I-93 gridlock,” says Andy Martin. “We missed the Clerk’s closing cutoff of 4:00 P.M. so we will return Monday and file.

“Many Republican voters will be surprised to find out how rigged the politics of their party and state really are. Their tax dollars are used to support a leftist organization, the University of New Hampshire, that ‘polls’ on nine (9!) Democratic candidates and only two (2) Republicans. Likewise a St. Anselm poll was rigged in advance by polling on eight Democrats and only two Republicans. In both instances my name was excluded from the poll. These are taxpayer-supported and tax-exempt institutions using our hard-earned money to sponsor leftist propaganda.

“I have been featured on a national TV broadcast network, been covered on the front page of the New York Times and was part of the most controversial cable TV segment during the 2008 presidential election, and I’m not big enough for New Hampshire politics?

“The state’s politics is too dirty and too corrupt for the good citizens who have had a Democratic Party dictatorship imposed on them by local media and incompetent GOP leadership. The score in Congress: 4 Democrats, 0 Republicans, speaks for itself. The candidates the GOP leadership is now promoting don’t have a chance in November. They are totally out of sync with the First District.

“My lawsuit also challenges the ‘fake’ candidates and debates promoted by WMUR and the Union Leader. Two years ago they promoted a fake candidate who hadn’t paid taxes on his home, didn’t have a ‘small business’ as he claimed, and had been barred from being a contractor while he said he was one. Yet WMUR and the Union leader used this fake candidate to conduct debates and defraud primary voters. The Union Leader and WMUR held the negative information I provided in June until after the primary in September. Then, his value as a useful idiot over, WMUR and the Union Leader slaughtered their own fake candidate and reelected the Democrat. Peyton Place!

“Politics in this state in the Republican Party is petty, corrupt, self-destructive and self-defeating, which is why Democrats win and Republicans lose.

“Wayne McDonald will be the death of the Republican Party in New Hampshire. He may be a nice person but he is out of his depth in leading the GOP against the well-organized and well-financed Democratic Party of Ray Buckley. It is like a battle between a major league team (D’s) and a sandlot team (R’s).

“All of the litigation which McDonald and his group are triggering will almost certainly diminish financial donations to the party, so harassing me will have a devastating financial backlash. Potential party donors can now see the ugliness of GOP politics exposed in a court of law.

“Likewise, the Republicans announced a ‘debate’ barely a week before it is supposed to be held. Yet they announced ‘partners’ and ‘sponsors,’ so negotiations must have been going on for some time. The event was not listed on the NH GOP calendar of events. Why the secrecy?

“The Democrats accommodate eleven (11) candidates in their congressional events; McDonald and his coterie of insiders are trying to promote only two candidates. Maybe McDonald can only count to ‘2.’

“A copy of the Complaint which will be filed Monday is attached to emailed versions of this release and speaks for itself,” Martin says.
